Kia Forum bag policy: the second bag that decides the door

A transparent tote bought for one Western stadium is the same object the Kia Forum admits, because thirteen buildings in four states print the identical clear box on their own pages, read September 2026. Measuring a bag against that number decides nothing at the Inglewood gate.

Kia Forum bag policy: the second bag that decides the door: Lot Opens event-day guide

The second bag the Kia Forum admits beside its clear tote measures up to 9 by 6 inches and is not required to be transparent, read September 2026. That figure is where the seven venues compared here stop agreeing.

What follows counts those seven one at a time, sets the Kia Forum allowance against each, and then carries it to Intuit Dome, the other Inglewood arena, where the dimension that settles the question is one the Kia Forum never prints.

The Kia Forum second bag runs to 9 by 6 inches and is allowed to stay opaque

The Kia Forum admits one clear bag of up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches plus a second bag of up to 9 by 6 inches that does not have to be transparent, read September 2026. Six other Western venues compared here publish that box, and none of them allows a second bag as large.

Two permissions, two different jobs. The clear bag is a volume rule aimed at what security can see through; the clutch is a discretion rule aimed at what a guest would rather not display on a conveyor. The arena writes the second one wider than anybody else that copied the first.

Diaper bags and medical bags travel outside both allowances at the Kia Forum, admitted when they accompany the person who needs them, read September 2026. Everything carried in is subject to search, whether it is see-through or not.

Thirteen Western venues print the same 12 by 6 by 12 clear box, so the tote settles nothing

Thirteen of the twenty-seven venues in these verified figures publish a clear bag maximum of 12 by 6 by 12 inches, each on its own page and each read in September 2026. Dodger Stadium writes it as 12 by 12 by 6, which sorts to the same three sides (Lot Opens calculation, September 2026).

The thirteen cover four states and four kinds of building. Allegiant Stadium, Levi’s Stadium, SoFi Stadium, Rose Bowl Stadium, Lumen Field, State Farm Stadium and Snapdragon Stadium sit on the football side; Dodger Stadium, T-Mobile Park, Petco Park and Chase Field are ballparks; BMO Stadium is a soccer ground; and the Kia Forum is a concert arena. Thirteen of the twenty-seven publish something else entirely, and the twenty-seventh, Crypto.com Arena, had no carry-in rule among the pages read for these figures.

Read the second column and one object appears seven times. Read the third and the agreement collapses: four of the seven stop at the 4.5 by 6.5 inches that Allegiant Stadium, Levi’s Stadium, SoFi Stadium and Rose Bowl Stadium each publish, Dodger Stadium runs to 5 by 8 by 2 inches, the Kia Forum runs to 9 by 6 inches, and BMO Stadium admits no opaque bag at all. Our reading of the Levi’s Stadium clear bag rule and the adult-hand clutch beside it covers the Santa Clara end of the group.

A clutch bought to the Kia Forum figure is refused at the other six doors

Sorting each published pair from its shortest side to its longest answers the packing question exactly, and the answer runs one way only. A clutch of 9 by 6 inches exceeds the 6.5 inch side that Allegiant Stadium, Levi’s Stadium, SoFi Stadium and Rose Bowl Stadium each publish, and exceeds the 8 inch side that Dodger Stadium publishes, read September 2026 (Lot Opens calculation, September 2026).

Reverse the direction and everything fits. A clutch of 4.5 by 6.5 inches sits inside 9 by 6 once turned, sits inside the 5 by 8 by 2 inches of Dodger Stadium on both printed sides, and clears its own four gates, which makes the smallest published pouch of the group the only one that travels on the dimensions its issuers print (Lot Opens calculation, September 2026).

Winner by scenario, declared on the issuers’ own numbers. For a household with tickets at two or more of the seven in one season, the 4.5 by 6.5 inch pouch wins on cost, because one purchase clears six of the seven doors and the seventh, BMO Stadium, admits no opaque bag whatever its size. For a household going only to Inglewood for a concert, the 9 by 6 inch allowance wins on capacity, and buys an object with a single use. Our breakdown of the Allegiant Stadium clutch and its $20 bag check windows sets out the Nevada version of the same pair.

One correction falls out of the arithmetic. Generosity at a gate is not portability, and the widest published second bag in the group belongs to the venue whose second bag is the least usable anywhere else.

Depth is the dimension the Kia Forum omits, and Intuit Dome makes it decisive

Personal clutches of up to 10 by 6 by 2 inches enter Intuit Dome, clear or not, according to Intuit Dome, read September 2026. The Kia Forum publishes two dimensions for its clutch, 9 by 6 inches, and no third one anywhere on the page read the same month.

Comparing the two therefore stops halfway. On length and width the Inglewood arena next door is the more permissive of the pair, since 10 inches beats 9 and the 6 inch side matches. On depth there is nothing to compare, because Intuit Dome prints 2 inches and the Kia Forum prints no figure at all.

Consequences split by object rather than by venue. A flat wallet-style pouch of 9 by 6 inches has a fair chance at both doors. A rounded 9 by 6 inch camera-style case that measures 4 inches through the middle satisfies everything the Kia Forum publishes and overshoots the Intuit Dome depth by 2 inches (Lot Opens calculation, September 2026).

Two of the thirteen venues publishing the clear box print a depth for the second bag as well, Allegiant Stadium at 2 inches and Dodger Stadium at 2 inches, while Levi’s Stadium, SoFi Stadium, Rose Bowl Stadium and the Kia Forum give two dimensions only and BMO Stadium admits no second bag to measure (Lot Opens calculation, September 2026). Absent depth is not permission for any depth; it is an unanswered question that gets answered by a screener.

Three Inglewood doors give three different answers on a diaper bag

A diaper bag or a medical bag enters the Kia Forum when it travels with the person who needs it, read September 2026. SoFi Stadium lists diaper bags among its prohibited items, alongside backpacks, fanny packs, coolers, briefcases, computer bags and camera bags, read the same month.

Intuit Dome takes a third route again, publishing a medical and child exception of up to 14 by 14 by 6 inches together with a way to ask about it in advance, at [email protected] and 1-888-311-0231, according to Intuit Dome, read September 2026.

Same city, same month, three answers to one bag. A parent who cleared the Kia Forum door on Friday with a diaper bag has, at SoFi Stadium on Saturday, an object on the prohibited list rather than an oversized one, which is a different kind of refusal and has no size fix.

Sharing a district turns out to predict nothing about sharing a rulebook. The one axis where Inglewood does agree is transparency of the small bag: none of the three requires it, and the two that publish a screening clause, the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome, apply it to everything they admit.

An opaque clutch at the Kia Forum is a size permission, not a screening exemption

All bags are subject to search at the Kia Forum, which publishes no separate lane, fast track or reduced check for the small one, read September 2026. Opacity buys privacy from other guests, not from the screener.

Other Western buildings write that trade-off in three visibly different ways. Chase Center lets anything under 10 by 6 by 2 inches enter by any entrance and routes larger bags to designated X-ray lanes, read September 2026. Intuit Dome states that every bag goes through X-ray, including the ones that fit. SAP Center at San Jose states that bags face X-ray screening regardless of whether they are clear or not, which removes any advantage from buying a transparent one.

Reading transparency as a queue-jumping device is the assumption that fails hardest here. The arena publishes no reward for it and no penalty for its absence in the clutch, so the clear tote is a permission to carry volume and nothing more. Our account of the Chase Center 14 inch limit and its designated screening lanes shows what a published fast track actually looks like, and our reading of the SAP Center at San Jose door, which admits up to 20 by 14 by 11 inches and stores nothing behind it shows the opposite arrangement.

Nothing on the Kia Forum prohibited list becomes admissible by riding in the opaque bag

Prohibited items at the Kia Forum include laptops, computers and tablets; glass, cans and aluminum bottles; flasks and coolers; spare batteries; signs larger than 11 by 17 inches; face paint; balloons; and skateboards, read September 2026. Outside food and drink are refused, with factory sealed water bottles as the stated exception.

Three of those entries are exactly what a 9 by 6 inch pouch was bought to carry. A spare battery is the standard answer to a long night on a phone that also holds a mobile-only ticket. A flask is a pocket object. An aluminum bottle is the container most people now treat as the responsible one, and it sits on the list beside glass and cans.

Container and contents are judged separately at one checkpoint. A conforming clutch holding a spare battery is refused for the battery, because the rule that admits the bag is a dimension rule and the rule that refuses the battery is an object rule.

Storage is absent from both Kia Forum pages, and the fallback is a car on a 30 minute clock

No bag check, locker bank or storage fee appears on the two Kia Forum pages read in September 2026. Absence of a published arrangement is not proof that none exists on a given night, and it does mean no guest can plan against one.

Four venues in these figures do put a number on it. Allegiant Stadium charges $20 per bag at a check that closes 1 hour after the event. Oracle Park charges a flat $12 at the Mobile Locker Co truck by the Marina Gate, running from the moment its gates open, 90 minutes before weekday games and 2 hours at weekends, until 1 hour after the last out. Chase Center runs its bag check on a $10 donation beside the East Entrance at Terry A Francois Blvd and 16th Street, and counts that window from its doors, which open 90 minutes before Warriors and Valkyries games and typically 60 minutes before other events. T-Mobile Arena lists Binbox Lockers on Toshiba Plaza starting at $20 per bag, non-refundable, closing 45 minutes after the event.

Two more publish the service and withhold the price. BMO Stadium publishes a locker trailer on the exterior of the stadium at what it calls a nominal fee, naming neither the amount nor the location. Rose Bowl Stadium publishes item check-in tents and no price for them either, read September 2026. Our account of the Oracle Park locker truck and its flat $12 fee and our reading of the T-Mobile Arena nine inch cap and its paid Toshiba Plaza lockers cover the two priced versions.

Several publish the vehicle instead. Levi’s Stadium and Angel Stadium both state that a non-conforming bag must be returned to the patron’s vehicle. SAP Center at San Jose says twice that it no longer offers a bag check or onsite storage lockers, Honda Center says it does not offer one at all, and Sphere states in print that it provides no area to check bags, coats or other belongings, read September 2026. A fallback of that shape assumes a vehicle, and Rose Bowl Stadium puts a figure on it, publishing approximately 2.4 miles between Memorial Park Station on the Metro A Line and the stadium for anyone who does not take the Rose Bowl Shuttle.

Where the Kia Forum differs from the rest of the car-as-locker group is the clock on the car. The lot opens 3 hours before most events, closes 1 hour after the end, and empties of anyone not going in 30 minutes after the start, read September 2026. On a 7:30 p.m. start the lot opens at 4:30 p.m. and stops being a place to stand at 8:00 p.m., so the walk back with a refused clutch has to be finished by then (Lot Opens calculation, September 2026). Intuit Dome opens its garages approximately 4 hours before showtime, which starts the equivalent window an hour earlier on the other side of Inglewood (Lot Opens calculation, September 2026).

Compare the shape of that window with a priced one. A bag check that closes 1 hour after the event, as Allegiant Stadium publishes, keeps a mistake recoverable until after the last song; a fallback that expires 30 minutes into the show closes the recovery window during the event rather than after it (Lot Opens calculation, September 2026). Rose Bowl Stadium keeps its lots open 90 minutes after the game ends, half an hour longer than the 1 hour the Kia Forum publishes and the same 1 hour Allegiant Stadium publishes for clearing its lots (Lot Opens calculation, September 2026).

The two Kia Forum pages behind every measurement here, and the three things neither one carries

The clear bag dimensions, the 9 by 6 inch clutch, the diaper and medical bag exception, the search clause, the prohibited items and the 11 by 17 inch sign limit come from the Kia Forum venue policies page, read September 2026. The lot opening 3 hours before most events, the closing 1 hour after the end and the 30 minute rule inside the lot come from the Kia Forum stadium parking page, read the same day.

Neither page carries a storage arrangement, a depth for the clutch, or a screening lane for small bags, so none of the three is quoted anywhere in this guide. Figures for Intuit Dome, SoFi Stadium, Dodger Stadium, Allegiant Stadium, Levi’s Stadium, Rose Bowl Stadium, BMO Stadium, Chase Center, Oracle Park, SAP Center at San Jose, T-Mobile Arena, Angel Stadium, Honda Center and Sphere come from each of those venues’ own published pages and are named beside them in the sections that use them.

The figures in this guide were verified in September 2026 against the sources named in each section. Bag dimensions change between tenants and between seasons, prohibited item lists change with the promoter, and a policy can vary for a single event; check the issuer’s page before you travel.

What the Kia Forum door actually decides, in six questions

Six answers drawn from the Kia Forum venue policies and stadium parking pages, read September 2026, covering the 9 by 6 inch second bag, the clear box that six other Western venues compared here also publish, and the 30 minute rule that ends the fallback.

What is the Kia Forum bag policy?

One clear bag of up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches enters the Kia Forum per guest, plus a clutch or wristlet of up to 9 by 6 inches that does not have to be transparent, read September 2026. Diaper bags and medical bags are admitted with the person who needs them, and everything is searched.

Does the small bag have to be clear at the Kia Forum?

No. The large bag has to be transparent and the small one does not, according to the Kia Forum, read September 2026. A clutch or wristlet of up to 9 by 6 inches enters opaque, though the arena publishes no separate screening lane for it and states that all bags are subject to search.

Will a Kia Forum clutch get into Intuit Dome?

Only if it is shallow. The cap at Intuit Dome is 10 by 6 by 2 inches for personal clutches, clear or not, read September 2026, so a 9 by 6 inch pouch passes on length and width and turns on a depth the Kia Forum never publishes. A flat pouch travels; a bulky one is a gamble.

Does the Kia Forum have a bag check?

No bag check, locker bank or storage fee appears on the two Kia Forum pages read in September 2026, so the published fallback is the car. Allegiant Stadium charges $20 per bag and Chase Center runs a $10 donation window; neither arrangement is published in Inglewood.

Are diaper bags allowed at the Kia Forum?

Yes. Diaper bags and medical bags are admitted at the Kia Forum when they travel with the person who needs them, read September 2026, and they sit outside the clear bag and clutch allowances. SoFi Stadium, in the same city, lists diaper bags among its prohibited items instead.

How long can a refused bag be taken back to the car at the Kia Forum?

Until 30 minutes after the event starts. The Kia Forum opens its lot 3 hours before most events and tells anyone still there 30 minutes after the start to go in or clear out, read September 2026. The lot itself closes 1 hour after the event ends.

The widest allowance of the seven is the one that cannot leave Inglewood

The seven buildings compared here copied a transparent box and not one of them copied the pouch beside it, read September 2026. The widest version of that pouch, at 9 by 6 inches, belongs to the Kia Forum, and it is the one that fails at every other door in the group.

Which inverts the usual instinct about generosity. A guest who packs to the maximum a venue allows has bought an object shaped by that venue alone, while a guest who packs to the tightest figure in the group carries something that clears almost all of them.
