A clear bag that clears the gate at Allegiant Stadium is refused at Sphere, and refused again at T-Mobile Arena. The three venues stand within a short trip of Las Vegas Boulevard, point drivers at the same resort garages, and enforce three bag limits that do not overlap. One envelope gets through all three doors, and it is small.

Allegiant Stadium charges $20 per bag at its bag check, and T-Mobile Arena starts at the same $20 while publishing that it has no coat check. Sphere states that it provides no bag check at all. None of the three attaches a rate to a parking space. What follows is the district level view for a visitor holding a ticket to any one of them, with every figure tied to the venue that issued it and the month it was read.
Three Strip venues, and not one published parking rate
Resort garages absorb the parking for all three Strip venues, and none of the three publishes a rate for one. T-Mobile Arena names Park MGM, New York-New York and Aria. Howard Hughes garages appear on the Sphere page alongside its own. SpotHero is the seller Allegiant Stadium names, and no price of the stadium’s own appears anywhere.
The absence is consistent enough to plan around. At Allegiant Stadium, paying on arrival is described as based on availability, with SpotHero named for advance passes. The T-Mobile Arena page warns that prices are subject to change and that parking passes are non-refundable, without printing one. At Sphere the figure moves onto a checkout page reached through a purchase link, read in September 2026.
Where the three venues sit, and which garages each one names
Allegiant Stadium sits at 3333 Al Davis Way, west of Interstate 15, and its published walking route from Las Vegas Boulevard is the Hacienda Bridge: 0.3 miles from the east side to the stadium gate, a 10 to 15 minute walk, according to Allegiant Stadium, verified September 2026. The same page describes the whole path from the Boulevard as less than 1 mile.
The Sphere address is 255 Sands Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89169, with four ways in and rideshare meeting at the corner of Manhattan St and Westchester Dr. T-Mobile Arena stands beside New York-New York and Park MGM, the same two properties it names for parking and for rideshare pickup. The full picture of an Allegiant Stadium event day covers one of the three buildings, and almost none of it carries over to the other two.
No walking distance between any two of the three appears in what any of them publishes. The one pedestrian measurement in the district belongs to the Hacienda Bridge, and it connects Allegiant Stadium to Mandalay Bay and Luxor rather than to another arena. Anyone moving between two of these venues across one weekend is working without a published number, which is why each building has to be read on its own terms, starting with the rules Sphere publishes for a show night.
Three bag rules compared, and the envelope that clears all three
Each row names the venue that issued the limit. Nothing here is averaged across the district.
| Venue | Bag model | Published size limit | Diaper bag | Bag check | Re-entry |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Allegiant Stadium | Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC required. | 12″ x 6″ x 12″ clear, plus a clutch of 4.5″ x 6.5″ x 2″. | Prohibited, with no exception published. | Yes, at three locations, $20 non-refundable per bag. | None, at the building or the lot. |
| Sphere | No bag facility, transparency not required. | Approximately 6 in. x 6 in. x 2 in. | Permitted, and named in the venue FAQ. | None, and the absence is stated in writing. | None. All exits are final. |
| T-Mobile Arena | Small personal bags only, transparency not required. | 9″ x 5″ x 2″ max, with straps excluded. | Permitted, with plastic bottles and formula. An oversized one is checked at Guest Services. | Yes. Binbox Lockers on Toshiba Plaza, from $20 per bag, closing 45 minutes after the event. | None, at every event. |
Read down the size column and the conflict is arithmetic. A clear bag built to the Allegiant Stadium maximum is wider and taller than either of the other two limits, so it fails at Sphere and fails again at T-Mobile Arena. Going the other way, the Allegiant Stadium clutch allowance is deeper on one side than the Sphere limit, so even the small bags do not nest cleanly.
Stack the three limits and one envelope survives. The widest side comes from Sphere at approximately 6 inches, the second side from the Allegiant Stadium clutch allowance at 4.5 inches, and all three cap the thickness at 2 inches. A bag of roughly 6 inches by 4.5 inches by 2 inches clears every one of the three gates, and that figure is a Lot Opens calculation from the three published limits rather than a number any venue prints.
The Allegiant Stadium clear bag is a rule that travels nowhere
Allegiant Stadium permits one clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag that does not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″, plus one clutch, purse or wallet of 4.5″ x 6.5″ x 2″ or smaller, according to Allegiant Stadium, verified September 2026. A one gallon Ziploc bag also passes.
The refusal list runs to backpacks, coolers, briefcases, diaper bags, fanny packs, cinch bags, seat cushions, luggage, laptop cases and camera cases, and the stadium writes it as an open list. Medical items are the single published exception, subject to inspection. Diaper bags are refused with no exception attached, which is the sharpest single difference between this gate and the one at Sphere. The size limits and priced bag check windows at Allegiant Stadium carry the rest of the detail.
Sphere admits the diaper bag that Allegiant Stadium refuses
Sphere describes itself as a no bag facility, meaning that large bags and backpacks are not permitted inside, according to the Sphere FAQ, verified September 2026. What it does admit is narrow and specific: diaper bags, medical supply bags, and a clutch, purse or fanny pack of no more than approximately 6 in. x 6 in. x 2 in. Every bag passes a visual or X-ray inspection.
Then the follow-up question answers itself badly. In print, Sphere states that it does not provide an area to check bags, coats or any other personal belongings, so a bag that fails the size check has nowhere to go but back to a hotel room or a car. Guest Services on levels 2 and 6 will hold a wheelchair, a cane or a walker, and will lend a sensory bag at no cost against an ID, so the building does store things. What it will not store is luggage. The Sphere size limit and the storage it does not offer goes through the exceptions one by one.
T-Mobile Arena caps a bag at 9″ x 5″ x 2″ and never asks for clear plastic
The T-Mobile Arena bag policy allows no bags or backpacks into the building except for small personal bags measuring 9″ x 5″ x 2″ max, and states in the same document that bags do not need to be transparent, according to T-Mobile Arena, verified September 2026. Straps are not part of the measurement and are admissible, so a crossbody strap does not count against the limit.
That third model matters for anyone carrying one bag around the Strip across a weekend. A transparent stadium bag is welcome at T-Mobile Arena only if it fits inside 9″ x 5″ x 2″, and the Allegiant Stadium clear bag does not. The arena also reserves the right to change the policy by artist, promoter or building, which neither of the other two rules does.
Where a refused bag goes, venue by venue
Three venues, three answers, and one price between them. The Allegiant Stadium answer has addresses attached: North Bag Check in Lot B south of Hacienda Avenue, West Bag Check at 5455 Polaris Avenue and East Bag Check in Lot E, at $20 non-refundable per bag, cashless, according to Allegiant Stadium, verified September 2026. Those counters close 1 hour after the event and unclaimed items go to lost and found for 14 days.
No counter exists at Sphere at all, and the absence is stated in print rather than left to omission. The T-Mobile Arena lockers open when the doors open and close 45 minutes after the event ends, and the venue publishes a starting price of $20 per checked bag, non-refundable. A bag left there is not reachable during the event.
For a visitor holding a Sphere ticket, the decision is made before leaving the hotel, because there is no counter to fall back on. Nor does the building get easier afterwards, since the Sphere exit rewrites the lost property procedure the moment a guest steps outside.
Buying Strip parking runs on three different deadlines
T-Mobile Arena sells Reserved Event Parking in advance at Park MGM, New York-New York and Aria, and the window closes 7 hours before the event. Nothing is sold on site on the night. That cutoff is the hardest rule in the district, and it comes off the T-Mobile Arena parking page as read in September 2026.
A different clock runs at Allegiant Stadium, and the way its lots are laid out and sold starts well before the gates. Its lots open 4 hours before kickoff and are cleared 1 hour after the event ends, with no lot re-entry and nothing longer than 20 feet admitted, according to Allegiant Stadium, verified September 2026. Paying on arrival exists, described as based on availability.
Sphere sells its own parking through a purchase link and names Howard Hughes garages nearby, without printing a rate for either, and prohibits overnight parking. Read together, the three make a district that publishes procedure and withholds price, which is the whole shape of the missing rate on the Sphere parking page.
Every dollar figure these three venues print belongs to a bus or a bag
Three prices survive a reading of all three official sites, and not one of them buys a parking space. Bag check at Allegiant Stadium runs $20 non-refundable per bag. The same stadium cites the RTC Deuce 24-hour pass at $8, bought in the RTC app, on a bus that keeps a 15 minute headway along Las Vegas Boulevard. Four RTC VGK Express routes reach T-Mobile Arena at $2 per ride.
Set those three against what is missing. No garage rate anywhere, no bag check price at T-Mobile Arena, no parking rate at Sphere, and no recommended arrival time at any of the three. A visitor budgeting a Strip event night is budgeting against numbers the venues have chosen not to print, which is why a marketplace quote is easy to mistake for an official one.
Which arrival wins, decided by the ticket in hand
Each of the three has a winner, and the criterion changes with the building.
- With a Sphere ticket: carry a clutch of about 6 in. x 6 in. x 2 in. and leave everything else in the room. Sphere provides no area to check bags, so the hotel room is the storage, and the door offers no second chance.
- Ticket to Allegiant Stadium with a car: buy the pass before the day. Paying on arrival is described as based on availability, the lots open 4 hours before kickoff, and SpotHero is the one seller the stadium names.
- Same stadium, no car: the Hacienda Bridge is the route, 0.3 miles and a 10 to 15 minute walk from its east side to the gate, and it costs nothing. Working an Allegiant Stadium arrival backwards from the gate clock starts from published gate times of 2 hours for Raiders games and 90 minutes for UNLV football.
- Heading to T-Mobile Arena: decide seven hours out or do not drive at all. The four RTC VGK Express routes run from points across the valley, and rideshare drop-off is the ground floor of the New York-New York garage while pickup moves to the nearest casino.
Rideshare at Allegiant Stadium behaves differently again. Pickup sits on the front half of Lot N at 5285 Dean Martin Drive with traffic directed south, while general and taxi drop-off happens near Diablo Drive and Procyon Street, so the two addresses never match. The separate collection points at Allegiant Stadium are worth reading before a ride is booked.
Where a three venue Strip plan comes apart
The recurring errors are rule errors, and each one has a published counterpart.
- Packing one bag for a weekend with tickets at two of the three venues. The Allegiant Stadium clear bag is refused at the other two doors, and only a bag near 6 inches by 4.5 inches by 2 inches survives every gate.
- Assuming a bag check exists at Sphere. It does not, and the venue puts that in writing rather than leaving it out.
- Arriving at T-Mobile Arena expecting to buy parking at the gate. Reserved Event Parking is not sold on site on the night of the event, and the online window has already shut.
- Planning to drop a bag back at the car mid-event. None of the three allows it: Allegiant Stadium bars re-entry at the building and at the lot, Sphere states that all exits are final, and T-Mobile Arena applies the same rule to every event.
- Bringing cash. All three are cashless, and Allegiant Stadium routes guests to Cash-to-Card kiosks that load up to $500 per card with no fee.
- Treating a marketplace price as a venue rate. SpotHero sells Allegiant Stadium passes at its own price, and that number belongs to the operator rather than to the stadium.
One of those errors only surfaces on the way out, where the hour that empties the Allegiant Stadium lots closes the bag check on the same clock.
How each figure here was checked, venue by venue
The figures in this guide were verified in September 2026 against the sources named in each section. Parking rates and event pass prices change by season and by event, gate times change by event type, and transit schedules change; check the issuer’s page before you travel.
Only a very small one. Stacking the three published limits leaves an envelope of roughly 6 inches by 4.5 inches by 2 inches, which is a Lot Opens calculation and not a venue figure. A clear bag built to the Allegiant Stadium maximum of 12 by 6 by 12 inches is refused at both of the other two doors.
No rate is published at any of the three. SpotHero is the seller Allegiant Stadium names, T-Mobile Arena sells Reserved Event Parking at Park MGM, New York-New York and Aria without printing a price, and Sphere moves its own parking figure onto a checkout page reached through a purchase link.
Nowhere inside the building. Sphere publishes that it does not provide an area to check bags, coats or any other personal belongings. Guest Services on levels 2 and 6 will hold a wheelchair, a cane or a walker and will lend a sensory bag against an ID, but no counter there takes luggage.
Seven hours before the event starts. Reserved Event Parking at T-Mobile Arena is bought in advance for Park MGM, New York-New York or Aria, and nothing at all is sold on site on the night of the event. Passes are non-refundable and prices are subject to change.
None of them do. The building rule at Allegiant Stadium covers its parking lots as well, Sphere states that all exits are final, and T-Mobile Arena enforces no re-entry at every event. A jacket left in a car stays in that car until the event ends.
Bag check at Allegiant Stadium is $20 non-refundable per bag, cashless, at three locations: North Bag Check in Lot B, West Bag Check at 5455 Polaris Avenue and East Bag Check in Lot E. The counters close 1 hour after the event, and unclaimed items move to lost and found for 14 days.
Three venues price the bag and none of them prices the car
The $20 at Allegiant Stadium buys somewhere to put a bag, and nothing at all attaches to the parking space beside it. Neither Sphere nor T-Mobile Arena prices either one, and one of the two will not hold a bag at any price.
The bag is the priced decision on the Strip. The garage is the blank one.
