Inglewood parking: SoFi Stadium, the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome, no shared rulebook

Three Inglewood buildings run event nights on the same city streets, and a visitor who has solved one of them has solved exactly one. The parking pass that is compulsory at SoFi Stadium does not exist as an idea in the Kia Forum lot, and the app that has to be on the phone before an Intuit Dome ticket opens has no counterpart at either neighbor.

Inglewood parking: Lot Opens event-day guide

Parking at the Kia Forum opens 3 hours before most events and closes 1 hour after the event ends, according to the Kia Forum, read September 2026. That is the only published closing hour in the district. What follows is ordered the way a visitor decides rather than building by building: what has to be settled at home, where the car is aimed, what the bag has to measure, and what happens once the event ends.

Four decisions in order, and the point in each where the three Inglewood venues stop agreeing

Four decisions run an Inglewood event night in sequence: the paperwork finished at home, the address the car is aimed at, the size and material of the bag, and the hour after the event ends. SoFi Stadium, the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome answer all four differently, and only one of them publishes a closing time.

Where a column below says nothing was published, the absence is the finding.

The first decision is made at home, and only one of the three lets a driver skip it

All guests must have a parking pass, and a driver without one is turned away and directed to offsite options, according to SoFi Stadium, read September 2026. For NFL events the same page adds that onsite parking inventory is extremely limited.

A different kind of homework is set at Intuit Dome, and it is not about the car at all. A visitor has to download the Intuit Dome app and create an account to reach both the tickets and the venue, according to Intuit Dome, read September 2026. Entry then runs on a GameFace ID, a selfie stored in the profile, or on an Identity Pass added to the phone wallet, and no paper route is published anywhere. Accounts for children under 13 and for anyone needing assistance exist as Teammate accounts and have to be created in advance.

On the parking side that arena asks for two things rather than one. The A-Z guide states that a driver has to purchase a pass and complete the Vehicle Profile before the event to be certain of a garage place, while Parking Information and the FAQ describe the same pass as a recommendation. Obligation on one page, advice on two, about one object. Planning from the strict version costs nothing, and the Vehicle Profile is also what lets the plate reader open the garage gate.

Least is asked at the Kia Forum, where parking is sold one vehicle per pass, first come, first served, and nothing on either page turns a driver away for arriving without paperwork. What is compulsory there is the ticket format: every ticket is mobile, and screenshots and printouts are refused. The same night at the stadium next door turns on the pass and the zone number printed on it instead.

Arriving without the paperwork produces three different outcomes at three Inglewood gates

Each of the three failures has a different shape, and the difference matters more than the rule. A refusal with a destination attached is what SoFi Stadium publishes: the car is turned away to offsite options, read September 2026, so the night continues somewhere else.

At Intuit Dome the refusal carries an instruction instead: a visitor without a parking pass is asked to carpool or use ride share. The app requirement has no such escape hatch, because the ticket lives inside the app, so that failure lands at the arena door rather than at a garage barrier.

No refusal at all is published by the Kia Forum, where first come, first served describes supply rather than a gate rule, so the risk is a full lot instead of a turned car. On short notice that venue wins, and winning means arriving early rather than arriving organized.

The second decision is the address, and the answers are a zone map, one lot and three street numbers

At Intuit Dome the address is 3930 W Century Blvd, Inglewood, CA 90303, on the corner of S Prairie Ave and W Century Blvd, and the parking is not organized into lots. Three garages carry three names and three street addresses: VIP West Garage at 10117 S Prairie Ave, entered from Prairie Ave and serving the main entrance; Standard East Garage at 3665 W 102nd St; and Players’ Garage at 3850 W 102nd St, the last two entered from 102nd St.

Letters are replaced by zones at SoFi Stadium. The stadium publishes Hyundai parking zone maps, and the zone on a pass governs the entrance as well as the space. A driver has to enter from the access point for the assigned zone, and anyone coming in elsewhere is turned around and directed back, according to SoFi Stadium, read September 2026. A wrong turn there is not a parking problem; it is a lap around the building.

The whole question stays in the singular at the Kia Forum, whose pages describe onsite parking and the lot and never a lettered section, so there is no Lot A to aim at. Kia Forum parking is sold by the vehicle rather than by the area, and the arena adds a physical limit instead of a map: vehicles longer than 18 feet or wider than 9 feet pay an extra charge.

Four freeway approaches are published by Intuit Dome, and all four land on the same two streets. From the north and the west the arena names I-405 S and exit 45 for Century Blvd; from the east and the south it names I-105 W and the Prairie Ave exit. Waze is the app it recommends by name, because of street closures.

The Intuit Dome pickup point carries two published addresses and the Kia Forum publishes drop off everywhere

One mobility hub is the only place on the Intuit Dome property where a rideshare car may collect a passenger, and the arena publishes it twice under two names, read September 2026. The FAQ and the A-Z guide call it the first level of the Standard East Garage at 3700 W Century Blvd. Another FAQ answer and Parking Information call it the first level of the Standard Parking East Lot at 3665 W 102nd St. One place, two sets of directions, each pointing at a different street.

A single line answers it at the Kia Forum: passengers may be dropped off at all entrances. Lyft is named there as the official mobility partner, and its promotional code takes 50% off the first two rides up to $10 per ride, which is the operator’s offer and not an arena charge. Nothing about a collection point appears on the SoFi Stadium pages, which is the first sign of a silence that runs through the rest of its night.

A party arriving without a car gets a dedicated pickup address from Intuit Dome alone, while the Kia Forum makes the address irrelevant. Both beat an unpublished answer.

The third decision is the bag, and one measured tote clears two Inglewood doors and fails the third

A clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag of up to 12 in. x 6 in. x 12 in. is admitted at SoFi Stadium, and the same 12 in. x 6 in. x 12 in. box is admitted at the Kia Forum, both read September 2026. Every personal bag at Intuit Dome stops at 10 in. x 6 in. x 2 in., clear or not. The tote that two Inglewood doors print as their maximum is refused at the third.

Read the other way round, the three limits leave exactly one shape that survives all of them: a completely clear clutch no larger than 10 in. x 6 in. x 2 in. sits inside the Intuit Dome ceiling, inside the SoFi Stadium clear box and inside the Kia Forum clear box at once (Lot Opens calculation, September 2026). Depth does the work, because the third dimension of 2 inches belongs to one venue only and no transparency widens it.

The opaque allowances then move in the opposite direction from the clear ones. A non-clear clutch of up to 4.5 in. x 6.5 in. is admitted at SoFi Stadium, with or without a handle. At the Kia Forum a clutch or wristlet of up to 9 in. x 6 in. may stay opaque, while Intuit Dome runs its single 10 in. x 6 in. x 2 in. figure for clear and opaque alike. A clutch bought to the Kia Forum figure is wider than the stadium admits in the same material, so the most permissive opaque bag in the district travels worst.

Screening is the last difference. Every bag at Intuit Dome, including the ones that fit, is screened with X-ray technology, a rule that arena prints in its prohibited items list rather than in the bag panel. Kia Forum pages state only that all bags are subject to search.

Completely clear at SoFi Stadium voids a tinted or printed bag that the Kia Forum would admit

Clear bags must be completely clear, with no tint, hologram, printed patterns or stickers, according to SoFi Stadium, read September 2026. The clause has no counterpart at either neighbor, and it is why a bag can measure correctly in Inglewood and still be refused.

A tote sold with a team logo printed across one face satisfies every dimension the stadium publishes and fails the material test, and so does a bag carrying a leftover sticker from another building. The SoFi Stadium transparency clause is four separate ways for a measured bag to fail. Kia Forum wording asks only that its 12 in. x 6 in. x 12 in. bag be clear, with nothing about tint or print, and transparency is not required of anything at Intuit Dome.

One more sentence on the SoFi Stadium policies page unsettles the whole exercise. Bag policy may vary per event, and the venue does not publish the variants: it points instead at its social media accounts and at the email sent before the event. A rule that may change and is not published in its changed form cannot be planned against, only checked on the day. The nearest equivalent sits at Intuit Dome, which closes its prohibited items list by saying the list is subject to change and may vary by show.

A diaper bag is refused by name at SoFi Stadium and admitted at the Kia Forum with its owner

Diaper bags sit on the SoFi Stadium prohibited items list beside coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, computer bags and camera bags, read September 2026. No dimension reopens that door, because the refusal is written against the object rather than against a size.

Diaper bags and medical bags are permitted at the Kia Forum when they travel with the person who uses them, and all bags stay subject to search. That is the widest answer in Inglewood, and it belongs to the building that publishes the fewest rules.

The word never appears at Intuit Dome. What that arena publishes instead is a medical and childcare exception of up to 14 in. x 14 in. x 6 in., X-rayed like everything else, with a published address and phone line for asking in advance: [email protected] and 1-888-311-0231. Citing that as permission for a diaper bag goes further than the arena does: the exception is measured and granted case by case rather than by category.

The fourth decision belongs to the end of the night, and only the Kia Forum puts an hour on its parking

Parking closes 1 hour after event end at the Kia Forum, where overnight parking is prohibited, according to the Kia Forum, read September 2026. That arena also publishes a rarer rule: 30 minutes after the event starts, anyone still in the lot has to go into the event or clear out. The lot is not a waiting room, and that single hour is the whole published exit for a Kia Forum show.

No closing hour, clearing time, exit route or collection point with an hour attached appears on the SoFi Stadium pages. The zone rule is the trap here, because it looks as though it might help. It governs entering, and nothing is attached to the way out, so a SoFi Stadium departure has to be planned from figures that all describe an arrival.

More clocks are published at Intuit Dome, and all but one of them point at the arrival. Garages open approximately 4 hours before showtime, and the doors are scheduled to open 90 minutes before the start of a game on the know before you go page, or 60 minutes before the start of an event on the A-Z guide and the FAQ, with the arena reconciling the two nowhere. The gap between garage clock and door clock therefore runs to 2.5 hours for a game and 3 hours for everything else (Lot Opens calculation, September 2026), and none of that counts forward from the final buzzer. The exception is the free shuttle: pick-up will begin at the East Garage 30 minutes after the event ends, according to the arena’s Free Shuttles and Transportation Options page, and no garage closing hour, clearing time or exit route sits beside it.

A refused bag has exactly one published destination in Inglewood, and it sits inside SoFi Stadium

Non-approved bags can be stored at one of four bag valet locations for a nominal fee, and SoFi cardholders can check theirs for free, according to SoFi Stadium, read September 2026. The fee itself is not published: a nominal fee is the whole of it, so a visitor can know the service exists and not what it costs.

Neither neighbor offers anything comparable. No storage, locker or coat check appears on the Kia Forum pages, and nothing of the sort is published at Intuit Dome either, which does not even print the fallback instruction to return the item to the car; the only things held there are strollers and wheelchairs, with no dimension or price beside them.

So a party splitting an Inglewood weekend across two of these buildings has one storage option, tied to a stadium rather than to the district. On two nights out of three the bag decision has to be finished before leaving home, because a refusal has nowhere to go.

Ranking the three Inglewood arrivals by how much each venue settles before the car moves

Each ranking below names its criterion, because the order changes with the decision doing the deciding. Every figure behind them was read in September 2026.

For a visitor who booked late and prepared nothing, the Kia Forum wins: a mobile ticket is all that has to exist before arrival, against a compulsory pass at SoFi Stadium and a compulsory app at Intuit Dome. Prepare a week ahead and Intuit Dome wins instead, because the app that obstructs the unprepared becomes a plate reader that opens the garage gate.

For a family with an infant, the Kia Forum wins on its own wording, with Intuit Dome second on its 14 in. x 14 in. x 6 in. exception and SoFi Stadium last, since the diaper bag is refused there by name. A group that already owns a large clear tote can use it at two of the three, at 12 in. x 6 in. x 12 in., and not at Intuit Dome, with the stadium accepting it only if it carries no tint, print, hologram or sticker. For anyone who needs to know when the car has to be gone, the Kia Forum is the only one of the three that answers.

When none of the three Inglewood answers covers the question being asked

Price is the clearest example. No parking rate is published by any of the three: prices will increase on site on the day of the event at SoFi Stadium, rates vary by event at the Kia Forum, and parking fees may vary based on each event at Intuit Dome, all read September 2026. ParkWhiz sells the stadium prepay and JustPark is the Kia Forum official parking partner, and an operator’s number is never the venue’s.

Two further questions have no Inglewood answer. The door time for a Kia Forum concert is published nowhere, so the only arrival clock there is the lot. And nothing published by any of the three describes a night when two of them have events at once. Anaheim leaves the same gap between two venues in one city.

Published lines that an Inglewood plan turns on

Every line below appears on a venue page read in September 2026, and each changes a decision rather than decorating it.

  • Harbor Gateway Transit Center appears on the SoFi Stadium transport page as the Sunday boarding point for the GTrans 7X line and on the Intuit Dome FAQ as the South Bay Regional Park and Ride pickup, the one transit address the two venues share (Lot Opens reading of both pages, September 2026). Parking there is free and the round trip is $4, according to SoFi Stadium.
  • Culver CityBus line 99 Express runs to SoFi Stadium for $2 round trip and Torrance Transit charges $4 round trip. Those bus fares are the only dollar figures on the page that also covers parking.
  • Metro C and K lines reach the LAX/Metro Transit Center Station, where a game day shuttle to SoFi Stadium boards at Bus Bay 8, and the City of Inglewood runs Inglewood Park and Go.
  • More than 100 pickup points are published for the free Intuit Dome micro transit inside a radius of 6 miles, and its RideCo shuttles begin collecting 2 hours before an event starts. The A-Z guide puts LAX at 3.3 miles, Long Beach at 23 miles and Burbank at 26 miles.
  • Six Regional Park and Ride pickups are named on the Intuit Dome shuttle page: Pierce College, Expo/Sepulveda, Harbor Gateway Transit Center, El Monte Metro Station, Union Station and Norwalk Station, the last for select events only. Its A-Z guide still says five, and every rider has to reserve in advance.
  • Aluminum bottles, spare batteries, laptops, tablets, balloons and skateboards all sit on the Kia Forum prohibited list, along with signs larger than 11 in. x 17 in. Tailgating of any kind is refused in the lot, and so are grills, kegs, glass containers, open fire and drones.
  • An empty reusable bottle smaller than a quart is admitted at Intuit Dome, with its contents emptied before entering the property rather than at the door. Umbrellas, laser pointers and selfie sticks are refused, and a sign over 11 in. x 17 in. is refused when it is attached to a stick.

Where a three venue Inglewood plan comes apart

Every failure below has a published counterpart, which is what separates it from bad luck.

  • Reading the SoFi Stadium zone rule as guidance about leaving. It governs entering, and nothing is published about the way out.
  • Buying a clear tote to the 12 in. x 6 in. x 12 in. box because two Inglewood doors print it, then carrying it to Intuit Dome, where every bag stops at 10 in. x 6 in. x 2 in.
  • Treating a printed or tinted clear bag as clear. Completely clear is the SoFi Stadium wording, and a printed logo counts as a failure.
  • Assuming an Intuit Dome parking pass on its own secures a garage place. The A-Z guide pairs it with a completed Vehicle Profile, both before the event.
  • Waiting in the Kia Forum lot after the show has started. 30 minutes past the start, anyone still there has to enter the event or leave the lot.
  • Ordering a rideshare to the wrong Intuit Dome address, since the one pickup point is published both as the Standard East Garage at 3700 W Century Blvd and as the Standard Parking East Lot at 3665 W 102nd St.

Which Inglewood pages carried each figure, and when they were read

The figures in this guide were verified in September 2026 against the sources named in each section. Bag policy may vary per event at SoFi Stadium, the Intuit Dome prohibited list is subject to change and may vary by show, garage and lot clocks move with the event, and the Kia Forum marks its own opening hour Varies by Event; check the issuer’s page before you travel.

The stadium figures come from the SoFi Stadium parking and transportation page and its stadium policies page, the second read on 11 September 2026. Figures for the Kia Forum come from its stadium parking page and its venue policies page, and the Intuit Dome figures from parking information, know before you go, the A-Z guide, the FAQ, how to get here and free shuttles and transportation options. No issuer in the district publishes the distance between the three buildings, and the Kia Forum is called a sister venue in the words of Intuit Dome itself, so that relationship is quoted here and never measured.

Questions asked before a first night at any of the three Inglewood venues

Every answer below comes from the venue pages named in this guide, all read in September 2026.

Do you need a parking pass for SoFi Stadium, the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome?

Only SoFi Stadium states that all guests must have a parking pass and that a driver without one is turned away and directed to offsite options, read September 2026. The Kia Forum sells one pass per vehicle on a first come, first served basis, and Intuit Dome asks for a pass plus a completed Vehicle Profile.

What size bag clears all three Inglewood venues?

A completely clear clutch no larger than 10 in. x 6 in. x 2 in. sits inside every published Inglewood limit, which is a Lot Opens calculation from three venue pages read in September 2026. Both SoFi Stadium and the Kia Forum print 12 in. x 6 in. x 12 in., and Intuit Dome stops at the smaller figure.

Can you take a diaper bag into SoFi Stadium, the Kia Forum or Intuit Dome?

The Kia Forum permits diaper bags and medical bags when they travel with the person using them, read September 2026. SoFi Stadium lists diaper bags among its prohibited items by name. Intuit Dome never uses the word and instead grants a medical and childcare exception of up to 14 in. x 14 in. x 6 in.

What time do the lots and garages open in Inglewood?

SoFi Stadium opens its lots 4 to 5 hours before an NFL kickoff and its doors 2 to 3 hours before, both written as ranges. The Kia Forum opens most events 3 hours prior to event start, marked Varies by Event. Intuit Dome opens its garages approximately 4 hours before showtime, all read September 2026.

Which Inglewood venue publishes a closing time for its parking?

Parking at the Kia Forum closes 1 hour after event end, and anyone still in the lot 30 minutes after the start has to enter the event or clear out, read September 2026. Neither SoFi Stadium nor Intuit Dome publishes a closing hour, a clearing time or an exit route on the pages read.

Where can you leave a bag that an Inglewood gate refuses?

SoFi Stadium publishes four bag valet locations for non-approved bags at a nominal fee, with free checking for SoFi cardholders and no amount printed, read September 2026. Neither the Kia Forum nor Intuit Dome publishes any storage, locker or coat check, and Intuit Dome holds only strollers and wheelchairs in designated areas.

An Inglewood answer stops being true at the edge of its own parking lot

The three buildings agree on almost nothing a visitor has to act on: whether a pass is compulsory, whether the driver picks the entrance, how deep a bag may be, and whether the end of an event has a clock for the car. Only the Kia Forum attaches one, and it runs for 1 hour.

Solving one Inglewood door teaches a visitor almost nothing about the other two, and the district never says so.
