Two intersections, one named lot, and a request to buy something the page never prices. That is what BMO Stadium hands a driver.

Parking at BMO Stadium runs on two street entrances, one named lot and a pass the venue prices nowhere, verified September 2026. The Getting Here page asks for that pass to be bought before arrival and names nowhere to buy one.
What follows stays inside what the venue prints: which entrance belongs to which lot, what the three freeway approaches say, where one page gives the same exit two different names, and what a driver ends up settling at the barrier.
BMO Stadium names the lot, names the two entrances, and prices neither
Parking at BMO Stadium carries no published price, and the venue asks for a pass bought before arrival, read September 2026. The favorable evening starts with that pass already scanned at 39th and Figueroa. The normal one starts in the Expo Park general lots. The unfavorable one aims for the Gold Lot from the wrong street.
The instruction belongs to the stadium. For faster entry, please purchase a parking pass prior to your arrival and have it ready to scan, BMO Stadium publishes under the heading General Parking, read September 2026, with no amount, no seller and no link beside it.
Ownership explains part of the silence. The venue calls the asphalt the Expo Park General Lots and reports the tailgating rule of Exposition Park as somebody else’s, which is how a building describes lots whose terms it does not write.
Everything BMO Stadium puts in writing for an arriving car sits below, with what each line settles and what it leaves open, read September 2026.
| What BMO Stadium names | What it publishes about cost | Where it sends the driver | What it leaves unsettled |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gold Lot | n/a: no rate appears on the page | Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and Hoover St, from all three freeway approaches | No opening hour, no closing hour, and no route to reserve a space |
| Expo Park General Lots | n/a: no rate appears on the page | 39th and Figueroa St, or Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and Hoover St | Which lot the car goes to, decided on arrival by staff |
| Parking pass, bought before arrival | n/a: the instruction carries no amount | Nowhere: the page names no seller and carries no link | Whether a pass can be bought at the entrance at all |
| Bicycle racks around the stadium exterior | n/a: no charge is published | Over 100 racks around BMO Stadium, with no single location named | No opening or closing hour, and no lock provided |
| Rideshare pick up and drop off | n/a: the app sets the fare, not the stadium | Corner of Figueroa St and Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, entering via Figueroa St | Nothing published about the wait once a match ends |
| Metro E Line and J Line | n/a: Metro sets the fare, not the stadium | Expo Park/USC station, then down Expo Park Blvd and S Figueroa St | A valid TAP card per rider, and a round trip bought before the match |
| Locker trailer on the exterior of the venue | A nominal fee, with no amount attached | Contact BMO Stadium staff for specific locations | Both the price and the place, which are the two facts that decide its use |
| Tailgating at Christmas Tree Lane | n/a: no charge is published | The designated area only, for LAFC and ACFC matches | Exposition Park allows no tailgating in its parking lots |
One row carries a count, and it counts bicycle racks. None carries a price.
The Gold Lot takes one entrance and the Expo Park General Lots take either one
Every published route to the Gold Lot ends at Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and Hoover St, while the Expo Park General Lots accept that intersection or 39th and Figueroa St, according to BMO Stadium, read September 2026.
The paragraph above both sets of directions gives the general case: enter at either intersection and you will be directed to a general lot. The entrance is the driver’s decision. The lot is not.
Levi’s Stadium runs the same handover with a name for it, and directed parking at Levi’s Stadium puts the aisle attendant in charge of the space. In Exposition Park the term never appears, and the line about being directed to a general lot describes the identical arrangement.
Geography is why the entrance matters so much here. The address is 3939 S Figueroa St, one block from the 110 and near the convergence of the 110 and 10 Freeways, per BMO Stadium, so a car reaches the perimeter long before it reaches a gate.
Three freeway approaches appear on the page, each written twice: once for the Gold Lot and once for the general lots. Set side by side, they do not say the same thing.
| Approach as BMO Stadium writes it | The exit it names | Gold Lot entrance | Expo Park General Lots entrance |
|---|---|---|---|
| From I-110 northbound | Exit 20A, Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, then left onto MLK | MLK and Hoover St, and nothing else | Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and Hoover St, or 39th and Figueroa St |
| From I-110 southbound | Exit 20A, named as Martin Luther King Jr Blvd in both parking blocks and as Exposition Blvd in the driving directions block | MLK and Hoover St, and nothing else | 39th and Figueroa St, or Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and Hoover St |
| From I-10 eastbound | Exit 12, Vermont St, then left on Martin Luther King Jr Blvd in both parking blocks | MLK and Hoover St, and nothing else | 39th and Figueroa St, or Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and Hoover St |
The Gold Lot column repeats itself on purpose. Whichever freeway a car comes off, the stadium sends it to Hoover Street for that lot, which makes 39th and Figueroa a general lots entrance and nothing more.
Exit 20A carries two street names on the same BMO Stadium page
Exit 20A of the I-110 appears with two different labels on one page, read September 2026. The driving directions block calls the southbound exit Exposition Blvd and sends the car onto Flower St or Figueroa St; both parking blocks call the same exit Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and send it right onto MLK.
Both versions belong to the issuer, so neither can be overruled from outside. What can be counted is agreement: two of the three blocks describing that exit call it Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, and the third is the general driving tab rather than either parking tab (Lot Opens count, September 2026).
The stakes are smaller than they look. Every version ends at the same pair of intersections, so the label on the exit sign changes the route and not the destination.
A driver aiming at the Gold Lot follows the parking block. A driver willing to take any general lot can follow either and still arrive.
Twenty of the twenty-seven Western venues Lot Opens reads from source publish a figure counted from the end of an event, and seven publish none
Twenty of the twenty-seven Western venues Lot Opens reads from source publish at least one figure counted from the end of an event, and seven publish none (Lot Opens count, September 2026), with BMO Stadium among the seven. Twenty-one of the twenty-seven Western venues Lot Opens reads from source publish no parking rate either, so the missing price is ordinary and the missing clock is not.
Seven of those venues are set out below on the two axes a driver plans against, the price and the clock, with each figure taken from the venue that publishes it, read September 2026.
| Venue and pages read, September 2026 | Published parking rate | Published lot clock | Who the venue names as the seller | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BMO Stadium, Exposition Park | n/a: no figure on the Getting Here page | n/a: gates open 90 minutes before a soccer kickoff, and no lot hour is published | n/a: no operator, no link, no checkout | A driver who already holds a pass and wants the shortest way in |
| Rose Bowl Stadium, Pasadena | n/a: no figure published | Lots close 90 minutes following the conclusion of the game, and general lot opening varies by event | n/a: none named | Anyone who wants a published deadline for clearing out |
| Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles | $40 for General Parking bought in advance and $45 at the gate | Parking gates open 2.5 hours before first pitch | n/a: Dodger Stadium sells it directly | A driver who wants the evening costed a week out |
| Angel Stadium, Anaheim | n/a: no figure published | The lot opens 2.5 hours before game time, and the stadium 2 hours before | n/a: none named | A fan arriving early on a weeknight |
| Kia Forum, Inglewood | n/a: rates vary by event, in the arena’s own wording | Opens 3 hours before most events and closes 1 hour after the end | JustPark, named as Official Parking Partner | A driver who wants a dated quote before leaving home |
| Honda Center, Anaheim | n/a: general parking is included with the event ticket | n/a: no hour published for the general lots | n/a: there is nothing to sell | Anyone who would rather not price parking at all |
| Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles | $10 for the first 2 hours and a $40 daily maximum at the West Garage metered gates | Gate B of the West Garage opens 3.5 hours before the event | n/a: the arena bills at its own gates | A short visit measured against a maximum |
Across the BMO Stadium row, the two blanks land in different places from every other row. Rose Bowl Stadium withholds the price and publishes the deadline; Honda Center has no price to withhold; BMO Stadium publishes neither number and publishes the map instead.
Dodger Stadium publishes $40 for General Parking bought in advance and $45 at the gate, and the five dollar gap Dodger Stadium charges for deciding late is what a fully published rate card looks like in the same city. Chase Center charges $7 per hour with a $35 daily maximum and $75 for event parking, which is the same disclosure in another city.
A pass bought in advance from a seller BMO Stadium does not name
Buying ahead is what the stadium recommends, and the recommendation stops one step short of a transaction, read September 2026. No operator, no checkout and no link appears in the General Parking block, so the driver supplies the seller.
Neighboring venues finish that sentence. The Kia Forum names JustPark as its Official Parking Partner, Sphere routes its parking to a Ticketmaster checkout, and Intuit Dome asks for a vehicle profile in its own app before a garage opens. Each of them hands the driver somewhere to go.
Buying ahead still wins, on the stadium’s own criterion of faster entry and on the fact that a pass ready to scan is the only arrival its page describes. The nuance is that ahead here means finding a seller unaided, and nothing published says a pass can be bought at the entrance if that search fails.
Payment inside the building is settled and payment at the barrier is not. Debit cards, credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are what a fully cashless venue takes, per BMO Stadium, read September 2026, and nothing published says what the parking lane accepts.
Christmas Tree Lane is the only place BMO Stadium permits a tailgate
Tailgating is permitted only in the designated area of Christmas Tree Lane, and only for LAFC and ACFC matches, according to BMO Stadium, read September 2026. Bottles are barred there; cans and cups are allowed.
The second half of the same line moves the odds. Exposition Park does not allow tailgating in the parking lots, per BMO Stadium, and the parking lots are where a car is directed on arrival.
Put those two together and a tailgate becomes a plan a driver cannot guarantee from the entrance, because the choice of lot belongs to the staff waving cars in. The cooler travels on a hope rather than on a reservation.
A concert crowd sits outside the permission altogether, since it covers LAFC and ACFC matches and no other event on the calendar.
The 90 minute gate opening covers soccer and stops there
Gates typically open 90 minutes prior to kickoff for soccer matches, per BMO Stadium, and door time for concerts and other special events is set by the event organizer, with the stadium pointing to its Know Before You Go information, read September 2026.
Applied to ordinary kickoff times, that single figure opens the gates at 6:00 p.m. for a 7:30 p.m. match and at 11:00 a.m. for a 12:30 p.m. Sunday start (Lot Opens calculation, September 2026).
None of those hours belongs to a parking lot. The published clock is a pedestrian clock, and the car has none at either end: nothing says when the lots start taking vehicles and nothing says when they stop.
Two neighbors show what the missing line usually looks like. The Kia Forum opens its lot 3 hours before most events and closes it 1 hour after the end, and Angel Stadium opens its lot two and a half hours before game time, half an hour before the stadium itself.
One scan of the ticket seals the car for the rest of the match
Guests may not exit and re-enter BMO Stadium using the same ticket, per BMO Stadium, read September 2026. Whatever stays in the car stays there, and whatever the entrance refuses cannot be walked back to the trunk and swapped.
A fallback exists and cannot be planned. A locker trailer on the exterior of the venue checks items at a nominal fee, and guests are told to contact BMO Stadium staff for specific locations, which leaves the amount and the address both unpublished.
Three neighbors publish what BMO Stadium does not. Oracle Park lists a flat $12 for the locker at its Marina Gate, T-Mobile Arena publishes lockers that start at $20 per bag at Toshiba Plaza, and Crypto.com Arena publishes checked bag pricing that starts at $15. A price and a place are what turn a locker into an option, and the Giants put both beside their Marina Gate lockers.
The order of operations decides the evening. Anything doubtful is settled before the scan, because afterwards the car sits behind a ticket that no longer opens the gate, at a walking distance the stadium never publishes.
Lines on the BMO Stadium pages that change where a car ends up
- The entrance is chosen and the lot is assigned. Enter at either intersection and you will be directed to a general lot, per BMO Stadium, read September 2026, so no driver picks the space.
- Every Gold Lot route ends on Hoover Street. All three freeway approaches for that lot finish at Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and Hoover St, while 39th and Figueroa St serves the general lots.
- Over 100 bicycle racks ring the stadium, and none of them has an hour. Honda Center opens its racks 2 hours before an event and shuts them 30 minutes after the end, which is the kind of line BMO Stadium leaves out.
- The rideshare corner is Figueroa St and Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Cars enter via Figueroa St, and riders are told to meet the vehicle at the top of the designated area, read September 2026.
- A round trip bought before the match is the stadium’s own advice. Riders are told to buy the return fare at the start of the trip to avoid the queues afterwards, per BMO Stadium, with every rider over the age of 5 carrying a valid TAP card. The E Line connects to the B and D Lines at 7th Street/Metro Center and to the A Line at Pico Station.
- Seven pedestrian entrances exist and all open for league matches. The A-Z guide names a total of seven (7) entrances, all of them open for LAFC and ACFC matches, and refers other events to the Know Before You Go information.
- The A-Z guide has no entry for car parking. It runs to 47 topics from ATMs to WiFi, bicycle parking among them, and a car lot is not one of them (Lot Opens count, September 2026).
Assumptions that fail between Exit 20A and the Gold Lot
- Reading a booking site figure as the stadium’s rate. The stadium publishes no parking price at all, so any amount seen belongs to the platform showing it and to that date only.
- Driving to the Gold Lot via 39th and Figueroa St. All three published Gold Lot approaches end at Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and Hoover St, read September 2026.
- Expecting a lettered lot. The stadium names the Gold Lot and the Expo Park General Lots, and no single letter lot appears anywhere on its pages.
- Loading a cooler for any lot the car lands in. Tailgating is confined to the designated area of Christmas Tree Lane, and Exposition Park allows none in the parking lots.
- Planning to return to the car for a refused bag. Re-entry on the same ticket is barred, and the locker trailer publishes neither its fee nor its location.
- Carrying the 90 minute figure into a concert. That opening covers soccer matches, and the organizer sets door time for everything else.
Which BMO Stadium pages carried each line here
The Gold Lot, the Expo Park General Lots, the two entrances, the three freeway approaches, the parking pass instruction, the rideshare corner, the Metro lines and the bicycle racks come from the BMO Stadium Getting Here page, read September 2026. The 90 minute gate opening, the re-entry rule, the locker trailer, the tailgating rule, the cashless policy and the count of pedestrian entrances come from the individual pages of its A-Z stadium guide, read the same day.
Figures for Rose Bowl Stadium, Dodger Stadium, Angel Stadium, the Kia Forum, Honda Center, Chase Center, Oracle Park, T-Mobile Arena and Crypto.com Arena come from those venues’ own pages and are named beside them above. The clock arithmetic and the hand counts are labeled where they appear.
The figures in this guide were verified in September 2026 against the sources named in each section. Parking terms at BMO Stadium are published without a rate, entrance instructions differ by lot and by event, and door times outside soccer are set by the event organizer; check the issuer’s page before you travel.
Questions drivers ask before an event at BMO Stadium
Six answers on the price BMO Stadium leaves out, the entrance each lot claims, and the clock that covers soccer and nothing else, read September 2026.
No figure is published anywhere on the BMO Stadium pages. Drivers are asked to purchase a parking pass prior to arrival and have it ready to scan, read September 2026, with no price, no operator name and no link beside that instruction. Its A-Z stadium guide covers bicycle parking and not car parking.
Two intersections. Drivers are told to enter at 39th and Figueroa St or at Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and Hoover St, per BMO Stadium, and a car is then directed to a general lot. Every published route to the Gold Lot names only the Hoover Street entrance, read September 2026.
No. The named lots are the Gold Lot and the Expo Park General Lots, per BMO Stadium, read September 2026, and no single letter lot appears on its pages. Any source sending a car to a lettered lot in Exposition Park is describing a naming scheme the stadium does not use.
No lot hour is published. The only clock BMO Stadium prints is a pedestrian one: gates typically open 90 minutes prior to kickoff for soccer matches, and door time for concerts and other special events is set by the event organizer, read September 2026. The Kia Forum opens its lot 3 hours before most events.
Only in one place. Tailgating is permitted in the designated area of Christmas Tree Lane and only for LAFC and ACFC matches, with cans and cups allowed and bottles prohibited, according to BMO Stadium. The same page states that Exposition Park does not allow tailgating in the parking lots, read September 2026.
Not on the same ticket. Guests may not exit and re-enter BMO Stadium using the same ticket, read September 2026. A locker trailer outside the venue checks items at a nominal fee, and BMO Stadium publishes neither that amount nor the trailer location, telling guests to ask its staff.
The map was free to publish and a rate would have been a promise
Every part of the arrival the stadium controls is printed, read September 2026: two intersections, one lot name, a pass ready to scan, seven pedestrian entrances and a 90 minute soccer clock. The part missing is the part Exposition Park owns, and a venue rarely prints a rate it does not set. So the question of what parking costs never had an answer on that page, and the pass a driver buys answers it for one night only.
